The four shortlisted candidates for this year’s Young Singer Award will be competing to become the 2025 Brecon Choir Festival Young Singer.
The winner of the competition will have the opportunity of performing as the solo artist at the Festival’s Saturday night Grand Concert with The BBC National Chorus of Wales on Saturday, 19th July 2025.

A £300 prize for the winner and prizes of £100 for up to 3 runners up.
The candidates will be singing 3 pieces each, in front of two adjudicators and a small audience.

This years adjudicators are Adrian Partington (BBC National Chorus of Wales) and Elisabeth Priday (former soprano with the Monteverdi Choir).

The winner of the competition will be announced at the end of the Competition Day.
